Founder and Chief Executive- DAA International
Colm Moran is Founder and Chief Executive of daa International. daa International is the international arm of daa Group that manages and operates airports. Colm has extensive leadership and innovation experience in the airport and airline business.
Prior to his position as Chief Executive, he was Chief Asset Management and Development Executive for daa Group. Having led the development of the Dublin masterplan, he directed the €1.7bn Capital Investment Program across three airports (Dublin, Shannon and Cork) that included the successful delivery of Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.
In his earlier career, Colm spent 16 years with Aer Lingus Irish International Airlines in a variety of technical and general management positions culminating in leading a company-wide change management and continuous improvement process.
Before joining daa Group, Colm was Director of Project Management Group, an Irish based, 2,500 strong, international consultancy company where he directed the re-development of Dublin’s city-center Lansdowne Road Rugby Stadium (now Aviva Stadium), the oldest rugby stadium in the world.
Colm holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (BE), is a Chartered Professional Engineer and also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), both from University College, Dublin (UCD)
